Piscitello Law Partners with Community Bike Works in Lehigh Valley, PA to Sponsor the 2024 National Youth Bike Summit
At Piscitello Law, we are committed to advocating for cyclists' rights and supporting initiatives that empower the next generation of riders. In 2024, we proudly collaborated with Community Bike Works to sponsor the National Youth Bike Summit (NYBS), a nationwide event dedicated to educating and inspiring young cyclists.
About the National Youth Bike Summit
The National Youth Bike Summit is an annual gathering that brings together youth leaders, advocates, and community organizations from across the country to promote cycling, leadership, and sustainability. Hosted in Allentown, PA from March 15-17, 2024, this year’s summit focused on the theme of “Youth Cycling for Change”, emphasizing the power of young voices in shaping the future of transportation, equity, and environmental sustainability.
Our Collaboration with Community Bike Works
Community Bike Works (CBW), located in the Lehigh Valley, PA served as the local host organization to the 2024 Youth Bike Summit. CBW, a nonprofit, provides mentorship and bike education programs for underserved youth, using bicycles as a tool to teach life skills, responsibility, and teamwork. Piscitello Law partnered with Community Bike Works to support their mission and ensure that young cyclists had the opportunity to attend and participate in the summit. Through this sponsorship, we:
- Helped fund youth scholarships for summit attendance
- Supported educational workshops on bike safety, advocacy, and leadership
- Provided resources to help young cyclists engage with industry leaders and advocates
Why This Matters
At Piscitello Law, we believe that cycling is more than just a mode of transportation—it’s a movement that promotes healthy living, safer streets, and stronger communities. By supporting young leaders like Joshua Funches and the National YBS, we are investing in the future of cycling advocacy and empowering the next generation of leaders to champion cyclists' rights.
