Piscitello Law Supports the JAWS Holiday Bike Drive
Supporting Youth Through the Gift of Cycling
We are proud to collaborate with JAWS Youth Playbook in their efforts to bring the joy of cycling to underserved youth. Every holiday season, the Foundation hosts a bike drive in a different neighborhood and state. Every child deserves their first bike, along with the pride, freedom, and health benefits that come with owning one. The JAWS Foundation was started by Ron Jaworski, a former NFL Quarterback and his wife, Liz Jaworski.
In 2021, JAWS Youth Playbook hosted its 9th Annual Holiday Bike Drive, spreading holiday cheer to children in Kensington. We were still operating in the COVID 19 pandemic during the 2021 bike drive so it was more important than ever, to find ways to get children outdoors and active. In the photo below, Joe Piscitello helps to fit a new bike helmet on a young resident in Kensington.
In 2024, JAWS hosted their annual bike drive in the Hunting Park neighborhood in Philadelphia. In these underserved communities, the financial barriers to bike ownership are significant for many families. By providing bicycles and helmets, this initiative gives local children not only a fun and healthy mode of transportation but also a sense of independence and empowerment. Piscitello Law has been a longtime advocate for safer streets and greater access to cycling for all.
