All too often, we see these tragedies repeated year after year because we lack the infrastructure needed to keep us safe while riding in bike lanes. In addition, our inability to reduce speeds on our roads creates devastating results for pedestrians using crosswalks. Unfortunately, many elected officials and neighbors are resistant to change needed to make our streets safe. For that reason, we do all that we can to elevate the voices of our local and state advocacy groups.
